Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - Look For The Woman
Those of you in the know will already have figured out that Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip is actually the work of 2 people. I on the other hand struggled for minutes on end trying to make sense of the riddle that never was. The Essex duo have been collaborating for a couple of years now and despite myself I fell for this their latest single on the very first listen. Hip hop doesn’t really get any meaningful coverage on this blog aside from some pretty obvious Streets/Beastie tracks so chalk this down as a new beginning. Well, maybe not but ‘Look For The Woman’ is peppered with such an easy charm and fluid wordage it proved impossible to resist. The video is pretty cute too. Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip’s debut album ‘Angels’ was released last month and it has already scored some UK chart action, finally giving the populace some genuine X factor to chew over. KD
