Viva Voce - Brightest Part Of Everyone

There are few bands in this world as consistently brilliant as Viva Voce. Personal opinion of course but during random shuffles theirs is the song I always pluck out from the pack. Of course they deliberately play it awkwardly much of the time so while there are golden moments aplenty it is often wrapped in candyfloss made of barbed wire. The outfit is propelled by the family Robinson (Anita and Kevin), who have zigzagged through a raft of labels over the course of 4 LP’s. ‘Brightest Part of Everyone’ comes from the Asthmatic Kitty leg and throws a mildly psychedelic sweep before uncovering the sweetest of centrepieces. When last we checked Viva Voce were recording their next record in the snowswept environs of Portland. Gonna be special so spread the word. KD

so much love for this band.
all their songs are so beautiful...
I love Viva Voce. I don't know many people that are aware of them.
Not sure if you've checked out Mother Mother, but they remind me of them a little. Most likely because they are from Canada and are so good!
Love Viva Voce! Check this out:
