You, You're Awesome - Two Muffins
Not sure how many samples they’ve packed into this little wonder but it hardly matters because it's bordering on genius. Made up of a pair from Cincinnati ‘Two Muffins’ is actually a tacked on freebie from their self-released debut ‘You’re A Fun Drunk’. There is a touch of the surreal about the whole package, which adds to the fun and mystery. ‘Two Muffins’ is arresting from the getgo but as your listen count mounts you’ll slowly be reeled into its cartoon landscape. And even though it borrows heavily from old times I can’t help feeling that this is the freshest thing I’ve heard so far this year. KD

Hey Kevin, that's a fantastic track. Will definitely have to check out their other stuff. Cheers for this. I love this style of music but find it hard to track down really good tracks without having to put up with loads of rubbish in the search.
Reminds me of Mr. Scruff and Daedelus to name a few.
Yeah it's fab Gearoid, I got onto the band and they said that it was based on a Duke Ellington sample (horns and vocals). It is really different though, one of best I've heard in a while.
