Candy Claws - Catamaran
Despite a lull for a couple of years it seems that electronica is back on the map. You could put it down the panda collective effect but the most stirring records I've heard this year have all been made using non traditional instruments. As it happens my favourite of the bunch has just been released on our very own label. 'In The Dream of The Sea Life' is a remarkable effort, full of woozy effects, genuine sea sounds and full to the brim with memorable hooks. You probably have guessed by now how much we adore everything that comes out on indiecater but we feel this album has truly captured the zeitgeist.
