Boca Chica - Lake Erie
Never has the word lush been more appropriately applied to a piece of music than on Boca Chica’s ‘Lake Erie’. It’s got the lot, the gently plucked banjo, the glowing atmosphere, the angelic vocals and to crown it all off the string laden climax. What more could you want for Valentine’s weekend? The Pittsburgh band have been on our radar for about 6 months now so when the opportunity arose to work with them we jumped at it. So can we present the ‘Valentine’ EP which has 5 tracks of hushed glory, unsweetened sentimentality and a rarely encountered sense of peace. ‘Lake Erie’ is the EP’s opener and sets the scene for the signature Boca Chica sound. The ‘Valentine’ EP can be fully streamed on Indiecater and is available to buy for just €2.50. KD
