The Cocteau Twins - Frosty The Snowman
If you like Christmas music then you'll love the mp3hugger curated Christmas compilation 'An Indiecater Christmas', you can buy it here!
The shame is of course is that the Cocteau Twins didn’t get to write an original Christmas tune but this is the next best thing. Taken from the limited 1992 release ‘Snow’ it displays what the Cocteau Twins were all about, namely Robin Guthrie’s shimmering guitars and Liz Fraser’s equally spellbinding vocals. ‘Snow’ also included ‘Winter Wonderland’ but ‘Frosty..’ takes it by a nose by virtue of its fluffy light heartedness. We should thank our iceblink luck for songs like this. KD
