Frightened Rabbit - It's Christmas So We'll Stop

If you like Christmas music then you'll love the mp3hugger curated Christmas compilation 'An Indiecater Christmas', you can buy it here!
Frightened Rabbit are starting to become regular visitors to these pages and they are about to complete a fabulous hat-trick of appearances with one of the best Christmas songs to appear in years. There are 2 versions of the song doing the rounds, this being the ace original but check out the video below for the hypnotic 40-piece choir version, which is the single’s b-side. The band’s debut ‘Sing The Greys’ originally came out last year but it is only now starting to get the recognition it deserves. ‘It’s Christmas So We’ll Stop’ spills some home truths about the falsitudes of people’s behaviour at Christmas. Thankfully for those who don’t want to listen to them there are plenty of instrumental and non-worded vocal distractions. Scott Hutchison has a nice folky wisp and his pronouncements are suitably bolstered by a gathering momentum not witnessed on this scale since Greg Lake decided to look to the classics for inspiration.
