M83 - We Own The Sky (Maps Mix)
Friday nights eh? A time to shorn oneself of the working week and dance ‘till your suit jacket is sodden in sweat. Well with dance music on a downward spiral the floor fillers just don’t seem to be appearing with the regularity that they were about a decade ago. There are still innovators of course and the Gallic wizard Anthony Gonzalez is definitely one of them so listen to what happens when James Chapman of Maps took ‘We Own The Sky’ and cast it in his own image. Yep, perfect material for the bump and grind of post-labour drinks after the boss has left and his new secretary is starting to find your inane jokes increasingly rib tickling. Ah the games people play, keeps master craftsmen like James and Anthony in a job I guess. KD
