Benni Hemm Hemm - Snjór Ljós Snjór

Not a single flippin word of English yet Benni Hemm Hemm convey more emotion through sweet vocal inflection than a thousand hollow words. In fact ‘Snjór Ljós Snjór’ could almost be the feeling of sitting on a balcony overlooking the most pristine of landscapes. It’ll wash over you with such understated grace it could soon be replacing the nap as a force for midday regeneration. Benni Hemm Hemm have led a pretty low profile existence despite releasing an album in 2005 that was voted the best Iceland could produce that year. The follow up ‘Kajak’ is on its way and should have a greater impact than the footprints in the snow left by its predecessor. There are so many in this band it is quite possible that one of them is in your circle of friends. It'll probably be the one who doesn't speak the lingo. KD

I once sent a postcard to one of the four bass players!
The one with the fringe and who drinks a lot of milk.
(well, no, not really)
This sounds like wonderful music to me - so thanks!
