Victoria Legrand, Jana Hunter & You

Yep, it’s not a trick of the night. Thanks to Foggy Notions you can spend a winter evening in the company of two of today’s most spellbinding chanteuses. That’s because on Thursday November 27th Whelan’s will be hosting both Victoria Legrand of Beach House and Jana Hunter. It promises to be a night of otherworldly charm so no sudden movements y’hear. Beach House are onto their second LP and the perfectly seasonal ‘Home Again’ is the dewy-eyed closing track. Legrand might grab the attention but her band mate Alex Scally is equally adept at dreaming up the near tropical electronic soundscapes. Jana Hunter’s star has risen slowly but tunes such as ‘Babies’ signal an individual talent that will surely unveil understated masterpieces in the near future. Tempting isn’t it? Well you can sate your cravings for free as we’ve got 2 double passes to give away to the Whelan’s gig. To be in with a chance just email with your name and then prepare yourself for some languid devotion.
Update: Congrats to Paul Murray & Paul McGinnity. KD
